The goal in this project was to integrate Acoustics, Audio, Electrics, Air Conditioning and Security in an aesthetic-valued design. After having solved the insulation problems, the architecture was re-designed to work seamlessly with the acoustic treatment. The projection of the loudspeaker's was optimized to reach an adequate reverberation time. The electric supply network needed a complete re-work in order to offer proper grounding, RF (electro-magnetic) protection and harmonic filtering. The Air Conditioning,

Alarm, Telephony and Security systems had been integrated not to introduce electric or acoustic noise. The suitable solutions were based on correct aiming and angles, while being carefully studied on mockups to predict ray-tracing interference.

The main challenge was to optimize projection and to improve intelligibility by the audience, including in the seats underneath the mezzanine. The project also provides ajustable reverberation time allowing adjustments for voice presentations as well as for musical bands. To assure a more musical and warm sounding room, a 1.4 bass-ratio was used for the design.
