This is the best condition an architect can get for a project, two large empty terrains side by side just waiting to be used for a brand new recording studio.
The first idea for the studio was to divide it in two floors. But that would have been too expensive, considering that they had enough space for that and more in just one level. Our proposal was to built two large rooms that could be used at the same time in a huge recording session or in two separate sessions. At that moment the idea arises of having two studios looking into each other through large glass panels. The client also had a 3 meter mixing console that should fit inside the control-room. This is very unusual in Brazil, and the control-room has to be large enough to fit its volume, and this demanded special care in reverb-time calculations.
The whole studio complex was developed with two living rooms, large dressing rooms, offices, photo studio and a garden that surrounds the entire building
