Control Room C
Control Room C - OMiD international audio academy
Control Room C was developed to be Omid's main private production Suite.
For many years it was also used for Acoustic Research, where materials and techniques were thouroughly tested. On another hand it was used to show an eager Brazilian public acoustic principals and how to develop basic critical listening skills.
This control room is only a part of a larger structure, which successfully incorporates funcionality and aesthetics. The main objective is to offer favorable working conditions as well as an inspiring and productive environment. The room has about 20m² and its isolation consits of a box-in-a-box, all concrete floating system. The acoustics are adjustable, with an RT60 between 0.2 to 0.4 seconds, with its dozen sound baffles and diffusion panels. The room has a spectacular view over Sao Paulo City.
In 2007 it was remodeled, to be reenaugurated as a Mastering Room.
